Welp time for the boys to put in some effort near the end of the 2nd when they're down by a couple goals. Hopefully they get a few lucky bounces because that's the only way we're scoring with everyone taking bad angle shots from the perimeter.

I think we should keep in mind that the Sens have one of the (if not the) least experienced center groups in the league.

The most experienced is the (not quite) 22 year old Timmy, with 234 games, not all of which were at center.
Norris has only played 154 games (interrupted by injuries).
Pinto - 99 games
Kastelic - 91
Greig - 34

We've probably gotten ahead of ourselves with the expectations.

This team is predictably unpredictable so I say they win tonight when everything appears hopeless!

Is Dallas coming off some sort of losing streak or slump they can snap tonight? Sens MO seems to be helping other teams right the ship.

Who in their right mind wants to watch this team play hockey.

The Senators are the laughing stock of the whole league. The stupidity and downright incompetence of Andlauer and Staios is on full display.

This guy Andlauer wanted the Sens enough to pay almost a billion dollars.... But when it comes to a simple coaching change, that should have come three years ago, he won't pay a cent.

Does anybody actually believe that DJ Smith has any skill as a head coach?

I know we have the talent to be a playoff team. I remember last year at this time when everyone was screaming for DJ to be fired after another slow start.

Insanity is often quoted as "Doing the same thing over and again expecting a different result."

I'm crazy, you're crazy, anybody who ever expected that DJ Smith would suddenly turn into Joel Quenneville is a nutjob.

One win will not take the hopelessness out of the season.

You say this team is unpredictable and I agree on a night-to-night basis. But if you look at wins vs. losses this team's future is pretty easy to predict. They will have more losses than wins so any wins they might get are nil.

We are once again in garbage time in mid-December.
