Predicted we’d go 3-4-2 on the road trip for 8 points (and honestly, woulda been happy).
4-2-0 entering this game means we’re already at the 8 points. Didn’t know we’d be without Ullmark, too. This team is in prime position to make a really good run at making the playoffs, with a softer schedule and home games to finish out the season.

This road trip in Dallas is when the Sens started their surge under Jacques martin and they went to Dallas which was the top team in the league and Hitchcock said after the game “I don’t think the league knows how good this team is, they have the best right side in hockey , there battle level is tops in the league” and Ottawa was never considered a bottom feeder again until - well you know
Right side was Alfie, Hossa, Havlat, Neil maybe the best right side in the history of modern hockey

It is now obvious that Hamonic will be in the line-up unless he gets injured. JBD will get very little ice-time, maybe every 4-5 game if everyone's healthy.
