The value isn't crazy, but the idea of those pieces moving out of Ottawa is beyond the limits of my imagination.

Sens young guys are finally figuring out how to win. Not a good time for them to change things up.

I'd like for us to trade Miller to you guys just to watch him and Brady piss each other off
For this trade the Stutzle for Petey part is an easy yes, but Hughes is just so special. Y'all would hate to give up 3 blue-chip assets for Hughes but I'd probably say yes if he wants out, hard to find a better deal to stay in the current contention window while shaking things up.

The only way Hughes goes is if he refuses to resign ahead of time with clear warning.

If he goes, it’ll be a full tear down more than likely.

Kinda a weird attempt at fitting in, I guess.

Stutzle: 1 TO per 22.4 minutes played this year.
Miller: 1 TO per 20.2 minutes played this year

...yeah, the fancy stats say that Mike Matheson doesn't turn the puck over much, either...and then you watch the games and...realize that what I consider a turnover isn't the same as what the stats people consider a turnover...

Damn bro, the NHL should hire you!

Stutzle Pettersson isn’t a wash imo, contracts + trend of play leans towards stutzle quite a bit

That second part is hard to gage, especially as I don’t know much about yakemchuk apart from him being a recent #7 pick.

Depending on how good yakemchuk is/will be, this part of the deal could lean to van’s favour or sens.

If it’s a bit of an underpay, I think the stutzle and Pettersson part even it out, otherwise I think one team says no depending on the value.

I actually think JT and Brady would be perfect together. Same style of play and mindset…win…that’s all they want to do…win every game, do whatever needs to be done to do it.

Ahh, I missed you were part of the crowd that doesn't like stats because it makes it hard to have strong opinions based on nothing. :thumbu:

Sutzle, Sanderson, Norris, Yakemechuk and a 1st to the Avs for Mackinnon and Makar

The Avs get younger players to help them extend there Window while the Sens get two players to open there window.

To me it feels like a fair trade just based on the age of Mackinnon
