After so many years of mediocrity and worse, the Canucks need to keep Captain Quinn at any cost. Yes, I have no issue with extending him (when the time comes) for 8 years at the maximum cap hit.

Sens overpay by too much. I'm giving Hughes his value, for sure. Pettersson has a lot of value but also a lot of risk.

I think this trade has the potential to be a win for both teams

I don't see the Canucks getting a better package for Hughes then what I offered

I would consider doing this trade in my ea franchise mode with the sens to do a test run to see how it works out

Obviously Vancouver is never giving up capt. Quinn but if they were, Sanderson and Yakemchuk would be sufficient, no need for the first. And Pettersson's point production is down so much that giving up Stutzle makes this deal very lopsided.
