Honestly he should have made the team over Amadio.

Semyonov could be called up without putting Amadio on waivers if Mrazek goes on LTIR.

Then the Leafs could have another look-see, but in real time.

These are one of those times where I don't know what to expect and which Leaf team we'll see

It's early in the season. There's been a lot of roster changes.

The Leafs have probably not yet figured out who does what, and they have yet to develop a team identity.

I expect a lot of ups and downs until they figure those things out-- and hopefully sooner rather than later.

Hopefully Liljegren feels comfortable enough to make mistakes. He could be a safe bottom pairing defenseman from now until the end of his career, but I hope the team gives him freedom to be more than that
