We do.Vancouver plays:
Flames 4x ——- 2-2-0
Winnipeg 3x ——- 1-2-0
Oilers 5x ———- 2-3-0
Toronto 4x ——— 1-3-0
Ottawa 4x ——— 0-4-0
Projected record (in the scenario that Ottawa runs table on them)
I’m wondering if we even need to completely run the table to pass these teams since they have so many games against the top 3 teams in division... just a food for thought.
I’ll do MTL and Calgary later here. Sometimes it helps to visualize.. their schedules matter, ours is much easier.
You can eliminate Calgary and Vancouver, they are irrelevant in the playoff hunt for us. Even if we pass them, which is still unlikely, we are still far out of the playoffs.
It's been said so many times in this thread, but seems it's not getting through. Zero point in discussing playoffs.
The probabilities for the playoffs using all the teams remaining schedules have already been mathematically calculated for you already. You don't need to visualise anything.
Leafs - 99.7%
Jets - 99.7%
Oilers - 97.7%
Habs - 90.8%
Flames - 8.1%
Canucks - 3.9%
Sens - 0.1 %
Would take more than the Sens running the table, would take a drastic drop in points % from the Habs along with the Sens getting 35+/40 of out remaining points
