Buffalo, Calgary, Chicago, Edmonton, Dallas, Winnipeg, Philidelphia.
sure theres more thats just off the top of my head, not sure why you don't think he's an nhl caliber defensmen, management gave him a 3 year extension for a reason...

edit: oh wait your one of the posters who spends most of his time crapping on the player, makes sense now

Looking at these teams. Perhaps he'd be #6 in Buffalo. Edmonton & Calgary...doubt it. Dallas, no. Despite Nemeth being out for the rest of the season. Winnepeg...guess he'd be the #6 or #7. Philly, doubtful. Chicago...don't think he's better than Rundblad, and he's a healthy scratch 90% of the games.

"...crapping on the player"? Which player?

edmonton- better than aulie, calgary- as good as smid (at a fraction the cost), winnipeg-as good as pardy, chicago- as good as clendening, dallas-no question he makes that team.

not sure why you think Boro is a plug who could only make it on ottawas roster, there are several teams that would like his toughness, defensive play, and pking for 1.1 mill

edit:meant to say players, all of them in general

To me, the high shots against numbers are misleading because most of the shots are from bad angles/low quality. It's not like last year where we gave up a ton of high quality chances to the opposition

Just browsed through the teams and I'm curious. Can you name these (a lot) teams where he'd have a spot? :)

Probably have a spot on Chicago over Rundblad or VanRiemsdyk.

Buffalo and Edmonton could probably use him, though only to give the kids more development time. Might find a spot on Col, or Dal.

Rundblad isn't even as good as Weircioch, who Boro has a spot over.

Is zibby really playing left wing :(

I guess Smith will stay centre for awhile with Lazar back. Facoffs might be better for us but Zibby might look out of place.

I think the team had 9 faceoff wins through 2 periods last game. 8 of the win were from smith 1 from legwand lol

Hadn't noticed this...

So....just when Zibanejad is starting to come around, he's thrown off the center position to flank Legwand?

I think it's time to really start to question whether Mcstasche is qualified to run this team going forward.

Zibby hasn't looked good at center so far outside of a few good shifts here and there. There are lots of questionable decisions being made but this isn't one of them imo.

I think I like the potential of Zibanejad on the left wing. Could allow him to cut to the middle of the ice on his forehand. Also opens him up for one-timers.
