My issue, who is going to want Boyle? $1.7 million for a 3rd line center with 0 goals in 20 games? Not exactly appealing. Most teams wouldn't even take him for free.

you call up Krieder...

You make your lines:

Hagelin-Step-Nash

Krieder/Pyatt-Miller-Cally

Krieder/Pyatt-Richards-Gabby

Problem solved...

That works if Kreider isn't being a complete non-factor, and if Pyatt can duplicate his play from the beginning of the season.

I'm not sure about Kreider. I'm almost positive that Pyatt won't happen.

Though, weirder things have happened.

So, is it scientifically proven that Brad Richards makes this team worse, and Brian Boyle makes it better?!?

Slats will find somebody who wants those 4line center skills, face offs, shotblocking and size. he has a value, not sure what we need to add to get somebody who can pot 15 goals and is tough as nails on the lw.

We lost to a goalie whose first name is Robin!!

I actually threw my slipper at the TV, but I guess I've been watching a lot of Del Zotto because I threw it wide of the TV and I hit my sister in the lip.

Your sister is Callahan, blocking your shots.

If Stepan had buried that shot from two feet in front of the net in the 3rd we're all sitting here talking about what a great passer Gaborik is and how he must be starting to heat up.

Nope, I hated the look of the lines even before the 3rd period....

At least the last game, the top line and half of the second were getting a ton of offensive zone pressure.

With the way Ottawa was playing in the 3rd?

came out strong to start the third, then gave up. Piss poor defensive zone coverage and a major inability to get the puck out of the zone.

Compete level was non-existant after not scoring early in the third. Like they were playing for OT.

Give the Sens Credit, but this is a team would should have beaten handily tonight

I remembered NYR fans have been a bit down on MDZ. So I almost laughed in the 3rd when MDZ had the puck in the rangers zone with both teams changing lines, he was all alone, and it mysteriously ended as a solid chance for the Sens.

How about that behind the back pass he did with a few seconds left that ended up on a Sens' stick?

That was as brilliant as turning the TV off with a revolver.

Just want to say great game and fun to watch. Always love playing you guys and were always a classy bunch even after last years' series. Still and always will like the Blueshirts. Cheers!

Rangers looked absolutely gassed in the third.
