I think most of our regulars are playing it passive and safe and not really fighting for much and it's really showing this third period. You saw the Sanderson-Zub pairing keeping things outside and not really committing heavily to puck battles.

I'm a little more surprised at the majority of players who are competing for roster spots.

Edit: yeah and you see them outclass Montreal when they get the puck. Just not substantial fight to get it in the first place.
