  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

Ah, yes, luck. Or course.

Need to see his on ice numbers with Bratt and Johanssen that season, not just his overall numbers.
I do actually want to take this back. My memory was off. His underlyings were better than I thought (50% xG’s higher than this year). He had Tyne highest on-ice shooting percentage of his career but not outrageously high in comparison. He did have the lowest individual shooting percentage of his career.

He has regressed.

Take a look at the top teams / past cup winners right now and see the common theme.
They either lucked out by having generational talent at the top of the draft :
Col - McKinnon Makar
Edm - McD Drai

Or have good GMs/ willing to take chances:
FLA - savy trades and willing to make moves
VGS - does whatever it takes to make moves / trades
Dal - draft amazing
WIN - draft well

We have had some good draft picks but also some very stupid mistakes - Holtz Stillman Nemec ( Nemec still can turn out to be a good pick though ) .
Silayev is another stupid mistake. He has no offense and has an inconsistent first pass / breakout pass. Better dmen were available that bring more.

You just knew that 3rd goal crushed them. They went through the motions it’s really remarkable how unremarkable the final period trailing by 2 goals

The simple fact the team has only one once trailing going into the third just shows even with Jack this core is just mentally soft aren’t maturing

MacDermid sucks, I get it, I'm not sure he really changed anything, but we were getting physically abused prior to that trade.

Team toughness was absolutely a need, and was a big part of our early season success this year.
A 4th line five minute plug doesn’t make your team tough. Absolutely no team in the league is afraid of those guys.

The team’s early season success was the top players lighting it up plus getting depth contributions at that point. When the depth stopped contributing the team’s goal scoring dried up.

And look Haula with Gusev garbage time goal

He's gonna play here next year just because of this shit
