They're not clones and Bratt is indeed an awesome player, but Mercer is a damn good player, 3.5 years younger and is having a better 2nd season than Bratt had. Sure, different circumstances and all, but Mercer is a very good and necessary player. Who knows what could happen with him? Maybe he's a 70-75 point energy guy.Probably because some here think this is true :

lol i had a feeling this was the case -- I think originally they planned for Bahl and Smith to split the back to back but then Bahl had too good of a game to be scratched. But 11/7 cannot be the way going forward and Boqvist shouldn't be scratched (which I think will be the case on Monday -- Boqvist will come in for Smith)

Bratt’s goal was such a perfectly placed shot. And then he had the one that almost went bardown in the third. I had most of the game on my phone so not the greatest in terms of seeing every play super closely. I know 11 forwards has the rotation but for anyone who can, were there combinations that were mostly together throughout or were they constantly rotating??

That rush goal to tie the game, going right through the entire Sens team, was unforgettable. Nobody does that. Coming right after Tkachuk tried to run Sharangovich, that was the turning point. I never doubted we were winning this game after Jack made that rush.
