Terrible passing the last 5 minutes. Just half assed efforts.
Bastian and Tatar on the ice with less than 2 minutes to go is probably not ideal. Just gonna put that out there.
I think he meant weeks.By last 5 minutes you mean the entire game, or?
Maybe, but they haven't been able to generate a shot of late.I'm feeling a tying goal here.
When a team is constantly getting goalied, perhaps they really aren't getting goalied.
Does Sheldon Keefe ever miss having Austin Matthews.
At this point in the game where you HAVE to generate some offense they area passing like rec leaguers. It's just pathetic how little work they're doing to make the pass and receive the pass. It's almost like they're not passing so much as just getting rid of the puck before they are the one to blame for the turnover.By last 5 minutes you mean the entire game, or?
100% agreeBastian and Tatar on the ice with less than 2 minutes to go is probably not ideal. Just gonna put that out there.
Meier DOES play a heavier game. Part of that will be stupid penalties at inopportune times. The point is that if Zetterlund only has 8 PIM with his ice time I'm guessing he's not playing the heavy game we all are wishing for from having him.
Boqvist was let go because his QO would've been too much for the player he is. He hasn't gotten that contract from anyone else. I'm sure they tried to re-sign him lower and he decided to try elsewhere. That's his right.
Sharangovich was a head scratcher because looking at Toffoli there was no way a player that bad at skating would've worked as the intended goal scorer, but it DID make sense to try to get a goal scorer with an asset since our best players are, for the most part, playmakers.
The draft (this being hockey's future) is still a problem too. Too many garbage picks, too little to show for it in the forward ranks. That, plus trades, and given away 1sts and 2nds, to have us as anemic as we are and as poor as our prospect pool is with where we are is bad.
