We have four "good" offensive forwards on this team. Four. That's it. Noesen can clean up garbage around the net as well as anyone but won't do it himself. Mercer has gone from a promising player to someone who I'm not sure what good he is. He's slow, his hands suck, he's brainless. The rest? Awful. Palat has been as bad as many here predicted. As someone who watched this franchise get good and win cups and dominate the league ... this stretch since 2012 has been incredibly frustrating and painful. My kid has never really seen us be good. And we really aren't very good now. We should come back and win this game, but my f'ing god.

My children have never seen them as "good" other than beating the Rangers two years ago. Outside of that NOTHING. They have seen World Series and a Super Bowl so that's good.
