It was one of the easiest holding the stick calls I've ever seen and they missed it and called a phantom call on zub

Ref across the ice called it not being able to see through McDavid (grabbing stick behind him). That said, centre ice ref should have been able to call off penalty or perhaps even change it to McDavid infraction (unlikely - mega star). Why have a 2nd Ref if they are not allowed to help each other?

Game management should ensure a Sens PP to make up for that BS call. Not that not will make any difference because our PP sucks

They also suggested there maybe should have been one on the play where Tkachuk got double teams away from the puck, not to mention that they suggested maybe McDavid could have gotten a holding the stick

I don’t disagree, but that shot needs to be blocked in that situation. He provided the perfect screen when he failed.

The team in general isn’t good at blocking shots as pointed out by York in the last podcast.
