Oh I know our goalies are ass. But so are a lot of our players. They are so weak on a lot of pucks and lose physical battles all over the ice. Give up on plays and take the easy routes. Jacques called that out a few times but has basicall given up on it. On paper these teams should be more evenly matched but one just plays like a team and the other a bunch of individuals. Whoever comes in as coach next year is sure going to have their work cut out for them.

Didn’t we take them to OT last game and played better than them?

Certainly part of it, they've also been playing out the string since December, that takes it's toll too.

The team has shown the ability to play very well for stretches, keeping your focus in meaningless games when you can't trust your goalie to make a save (not Korpisalo's fault tonight) and you've lost a popular player in the room to a devastating 3rd shoulder surgery must be really challenging.
