Finland is a better hockey country than Russia, and that is proven almost every time they meet. Better coaching, better fundamentals, better strategy, and great defense. It looks like this one is over for Russia, although a comeback in the 3rd isn't impossible.
The NHL add-ons like Ovechkin have once again failed to make a difference, and they have been as always unable to compensate for very weak defense and for 3rd and 4th lines that do not belong on the ice at this level. Also, Bobrovsky has failed to make big saves when needed. Not that its his fault, but we could use a little heroics from him. I hope the Finns take it easy on us in the 3rd and don't run the score too high!
