England has played like they did in their opening match and yet somehow are still in this position.

To be fair, I think the same could be said about England.

The difference with England is that they can play a mediocre game for 89 minutes, but they know they have the elite talent to give you those one or two moments you need to advance. I don't think the Dutch have that talent in the same degree or spread across the squad the same way England do.
