As a Minnesota fan it's great to see that in this Russian All Star team, Kaprizov is maybe the most dangerous player on the ice so far. What a talent.

The Finns really need one to get through pretty soon. Still, if you had told their fans before the game that the score would be 0-0 after 2 periods against this Russian team thy would have taken it.

They have played a great game through 2 periods against a team with quite a bit more game breaking talent, they are where they need to be at this point in the game.

0-0 after 2 periods against Russia, wouldn't have guessed after how game vs Sweden played out. Lankinen has been great.

Finland blocked the area between the circles really well in the second period. I was getting some crazy flashbacks from some Canada game due to the defense backing up too much in the first.

If there are no yet Jalonen-Cult, there should be such to join in. I would put in application and become fanboi-zealot already today. And it's not even about the result of this game anymore.

The Best international tournament coach Finland has ever had, tho his lieutenants are not paupers either.

You want to know my favourite Finnish word? Kalsarikännit. I think there's alot of that going on right now in Finland.
No, this counts as a social gathering when there are plenty other people watching the same game drunk at their own home.

It's not of consequence that there's enough personal space and walls and stuff between us for this mutual happy get-together.

Very enjoyable game so far. Barely any stoppage.

This is 50-50 as far as I'm concerned. Finland slightly ahead in terms of overall play but the finishing talent on Team Russia means they won't necessarily be bothered by it.

Little bit of kalsarikännit going on in here as well!

Impressive first two periods. Could go either way in the end, which is just as amazing as defeating Sweden was. Imagine if that first almost-goal (the puck stopped behind Vasy's pad on the line) went in in the first period.

Idk, I think drinking at home is a easy road to being fat. And generally beer tastes worse than your average other refreshment.

That was the right choice, trust me.

I blame the early start of the game. People are probably doing pre-emptive drinking before the evening. If you drink before you go out, you won't get so drunk when you drink more later.

Drinking is not cool though kids. It's only for Finnish junts.

Please Finland score now, I'm just afraid that would wake up Russian madness, so deciding goal 1s before last gong would be ideal :naughty:
