Well we got Olympic revenge. Can USA now get WJC revenge!? Still can't believe USA hasn't won gold since...might as well be forever ago.
 
Don't know why people bashing on Sweden for "only" win 3-2 against Latvia. Even our own fans seems to think we suck and will get blownout by the US only because of the performance last night. People seems to forget that we actually won in regular time while Canada and USA had to go OT to beat the Latvians.

It's not like the matches against that team will mean anything tommorow. It's totally new conditions and both teams will play to win. May the best team win!

sweden has not been good in the whole tournament overall, we are only good for 1 period then we suck in 2 periods. with that team we have we should not be this bad playing-wise. latvia was close to win the game btw, kenins had open goal.

Sweden have only played as good as they've been forced to this far. They have done nothing more then necessary. I like to think they will put in a much better effort in this game if that's what it takes to win. They adapt to the level of the game. Sweden have so much more to give in this tournament. It really was the same last year. Sweden almost never do anymore then they are forced to.
 
Usa will win because its a early game and a playing system that Sweden have trouble to solve.
 
Sweden will win and US hockey will fail. As they they always do in this particular championship.

Or Ok, I give the US 46% chance.

Kaner is great, so....
 
The US hasn't been in a gold medal game at worlds since 1960(where they won gold,) history is certainly not in their favor.

Think its a better roster than normal. Though it would've been nice to have Eichel and Matthews.
 
Sweden will stand no chance if they continue with the penalties. Will probably be a massive amount of Swedes in the stands which hopefully will work in their favor.

Eh, we're pretty even with the US when it comes to penalties, I think both teams hate divers & embellishers by this point.

Should be a Swedish crowd considering Danes probably haven't swarmed the tickets like they did in hope for a Danish QF.
 
this one is going to be good, I am hoping for a great back and forth battle...I expect a very pro Sweden crowd but a great atmosphere.

4-3 US , have to stay out of the box, but we have 3 real good lines, our defense has held up pretty well for a Motley Crue...need McAvoy to be game 1 Charlie and not against the Czechs..
