Yeah, it's really awesome and it'd be great if we've finally struck some gold on a late round pick. Him and Hagg are pretty much the only reason I'm watching the WJC anymore, the US is out and Morin isn't playing enough. I hope he scores a few more today.

why do these commentators make such a big deals about how hard it is to beat the same team twice? sounds like the gambler's fallacy to me. sure, having to beat the same team twice is harder, but for any individual game, if you won the first one, that doesn't make you less likely to win this present one.

ya, saw him. those are staged (tsn getting representatives from the countries that are playing to 'cheer' for their country while walking into the rink area)
I seldom wish swedish tv was more like NA tv but when it comes to sport, got damn...

Is he Swe or Canadian-Swe?
He told me he was part of a group of 24 (?) that flew in from Sweden.
First time I spoke with him, in the Real Sports Bar, I think I spoke for about three minutes without him interrupting...
He just smiled at me.
That's when I realized he didn't understand 80% of what I was saying...
There is three rows in section 306 that is all Swedes that flew in for the tournament. I think some are parents of the players. Not sure if he was though.
