Finland didn't win this, the refs did it for them. The bad calls obviously messed the Swedes up. Refs basically gave Finland 2 goals for free and then closed them off.

Oh **** it, that even wasn't a mistake and it's not like we would not have suffered from ref mistakes during the years, we bloody have. Now Sweden had all the chances to outplay as regardless of 1-2 questionable calls, and they didn't. So no bloody bitter sweetness about this well deserved victory!
 
Neutral fans, was the reffing really as bad as people say it was? I only saw the end of the game, and even though the last penalty was obvious the Swedish fans were complaining about that. I'm not sure how valid their complaints about earlier penalties are.

Good game. Finns were clearly better overall (so much for hoping for revenge for 2014, when Sweden lost to Finland in the final despite outplaying them). Got some serious momentum going after those weak calls.

I'm gonna feel a bit salty over the refs for a while, given how important for the outcome of the game those calls turned out to be.

And once again; 2+10 for that? Get out.
 
Few of you Swedes are so funny, refs were abysmal the whole game, for both teams. You also had powerplay, which you did not capitalize and you had half the game to tie it. :facepalm:
 
Yeye ref took easy calls on Sweden. but lets face it Finland was a little better today it looked like it was only Timachov and Söderström that showed up today for playing dont know what the rest did there tbh.
 
Regardless of the reffing, Sweden played their worst game (by far) tonight and didn't deserve to win.

If we had played like we did against Cadana, for instance, we would've won. This simply isn't good enough. No energy, no speed, no creativity. They all looked really slow and fatigued.

Oh, and thanks for Swedish fans. First time in IIHF history, ref mistake for Finlands favor in elimination game. It's still just one call in 2nd, I'm happy for the win and chance for gold.
 
Good game. Swedes did their best but it was not enough. Torilla tavataan!
 
I feel like we were better overall but it's a shame that the win came from 2 phantom calls.
 
Refs made one ******** call, and made a ******** make up call immediately afterwards. Not the refs fault Sweden can't capitalize on their pp.
 
Sure, refs gifted the penalties leading up to the goals, but the swedes were awful playing from behind. I think the last two periods were the worst I've seen from this team.
