The problem with this kind of reffing is that the team that is under plays cautiously to avoid more penalties. By no means I want the to play dirty but a bit of grit would not hurt.

We have gotten ton of penalties in this tournament and Canada games reffing was truly embarrassing both ways.

The Swede's have done an admirable job of neutralizing the Lahopulju line. But will it be enough today.

I also like their physicality and high pressure fore-check.

W(F)inland is usually the one getting screwed by the refs in important games in the past 10 years so this is quite a new sensation for us, let us enjoy it you swedes.

NHL refs are not any better. For every weak checking call by IIHF refs there is a missed obstruction/stick infraction by NHL refs.

I think Puljujarvi's and Laine's weaknesses come really to light against the first top opponent. They are non-factors in this game. Very disappointing to see them in this light.

Official is part of game, so players need to adopt, adapt and improve (motto of the round table). Young Finnish Lions have been done this nicely, and the flowing game is certainly in their advantegement.
