Rimpinen has the chance to become the new Saros. He won gold for his team. Back then we had TT, Lehkonen, Mäenalanen. Can Helenius and Kiiskinen step it up for the final? Or Halttunen. We were massive underdogs back then as well.
Kumpulainen and Alasiurua have been our hottest so far.

Sweden's coaching staff made a dumb decision riding with Thelin all the way. As a Leksand fan I can say Gidlöf is at least equally as talented and could have performed better if given a chance.

Rimpinen though, what can I say about this kid? He's gonna be the next Saros!

Referees missed one clear penalty and then called one pretty soft after a minute. That happens all the time. Don't like it, but it happens all the time. They realise they made a huge mistage and then try to be more focus this time and it happens.

Swedes simply never have these guys. I really think its cultural. I don't think they even know why other countries always beat them in heartbreakers. They legit never have a guy who is willing to break the mold, put the grenade in his teeth, tell the coach in his mind to f*** off, etc. I don't think they even know this mindset exists.

I truly believe Sweden produces better players, more high end players, per capita, than any country, and i don't think its particularly close, either. But they simply don't have any 'f*** you' in them.

Forsberg did. Landeskog and Holmstrom in spades, but those two werent skilled enough.

Yup, and if you've already played a full two min pp in 3-3 OT without scoring the refs is not the issue.
