U18: Semi-Finals at the U18!

Such a shame Sweden always get’s the calls against Canada.
What the hell are you talking about? Of course the refs are going to call that. It was as obvious a call as there is, Like the high stick by the Slovak in the US - Slovakia game. Let's see how the calls go in the rest of the game.

Well, considering the 5-0 first period last game this is refreshing. They are playing better along the boards and supporting each other there and not as many brain dead give aways all over the ice.

They need to come out and get it together on the rest of this p.p though, it was uneventful until the very end of the period. you can't let them off the hook on a 5 min major.

The reffing was fine in that period. The call on Ritchie was as obvious as the call on Nordh

5 minute majors are always interesting to follow given how often they swing the momentum one way or the other

Yeah but Canada have done several dirty things to swedish players over the years that wasn’t called. Just saying.

They could say it wasn't intentional. But they should rule that it's up to him to know where he is on the ice. If he wasn't in the crease then it wasn't a penalty.
The 5 minute major was obvious, wether its a suspension or not is a 50/50 thing imo. They’re gonna have a hearing and then decide probably.
