Just looking at Hrivik's and Yogan's numbers this year. They are disappointing. I actually thought of adding Kantor but this guy's a project as well.

Kantor should be ranked, but because his potential is that of a 4th liner, he should go much lower.

Lindberg for Werek turned out to be a great trade. Werek is just a mediocre bottom-6 guy in the AHL in what is already his third season. His odds of risky playing in the NHL are slim to none. Lindberg, on the other hand, is almost certainly going to play in the NHL in some capacity, probably next year.

Duclair. He's on pace for a 100 point season in the Q as an 18 year old. Pretty impressive feat. He's got a ton of potential. He's a great skater and has great hands. He's not big, but he's built well, kinda like Drury.

Not a big fan of Kristo admittedly having seen some of him in the AHL.

Almost as impressive as getting 100 points in the more defensive WHL the way St. Croix got.

I'm glad we have all these high-risk, high-return guys and I truly believe that it's worth betting on them because eventually one will become a star and will make all the failures worth while, but let's have The Duke finish this season on a high and then improve next year. Right now, improvement is key.

I like Duclair's tools translating to the NHL level more than St. Croix's. For one, by all accounts, Duclair is solid defensively and a regular penalty killer. Secondly, he is a great skater, whereas St. Croix is average at best.

Kristo, his offensive abilities might be tops in this system. Can't be ignored.

Add Hrivik.

What really stuck out to me is that he was PPG as a 16 year old.

Going with Fast. Injuries have been disappointing, but still think he has the best chance to be an impact player out of the rest of this group.Plus he has the skills to play a bottom 6 role as well, so he should be an NHL-quality player at some point.

Add Hrivik

Isn't one of Graves or Donnay reportedly having a really good year?

Both. Donnay is the #2 D on arguably the best team in the CHL.

Graves was having a really good year with the Isles, look for him to play even better on Val-d'Or, a far superior team.
