Man oh man the Caps made the right choice in hiring Brian MacLellan as GM instead of me
I'm pretty sure they would have traded Kuznetsov, if there were interesting offers. It's just other clubs didn't want him.

Okay let’s switch the plus to the other side. What would that plus need to be to make this trade?Plus is definitely on the wrong side

The plus is now on the wrong side. I would rather have Robertson than kuznutsov.robertson

its gonna cost a lot to get rid of seguin but yeah Robertson would be an overpaymentThe plus is now on the wrong side. I would rather have Robertson than kuznutsov.
Kudos to owning up to an old miss. The opposite to all the buffoons that don't look at post dates when they see a lopsided proposal.Man oh man the Caps made the right choice in hiring Brian MacLellan as GM instead of me

So 28 games is enough to triple a guy's trade value nowadays?Thankfully I noticed the date the thread was created. Kuznetsov is with two Seguins
Seguin is likely done. You don’t trade a PPG player to take that gamble even if it’s only 28 gamesSo 28 games is enough to triple a guy's trade value nowadays?
Seguin for Bob+++
it looks like the stars are in desperate need for goalie depth
The stars are extremely thin on NHL goaltenders outside of Hoaltby, Khuldobin and Ottenger.....No it doesn't.

Maybe not. Murray and Bernier would be two solid adds. Hard to win a cup with less the 5 nhl caliber startersThey're "extremely thin", outside of the three that they already have?
Alright then.
I mean sure, this offseason looks a little murky, with Oettinger a RFA, Holtby a UFA, and Khudobin a buyout candidate.
If Oettinger and Holtby are both back next season, that's a solid tandem. Stars are probably going to add a goalie or two in the draft, since their prospect cupboard isn't exactly stocked.
But I'm pretty sure the solution in goal for Dallas doesn't involve helping Florida with their own cap monster in Bobrovsky.
No take backs. I'm faxing this to the league office right now. The Stars will even toss in a 7th rounder as a thank you.Man oh man the Caps made the right choice in hiring Brian MacLellan as GM instead of me
