Seamammoths, really?
I like the brown ones.

I posted the brown version on another site and 90% of the feedback was that it ABSOLUTELY HAD to be blue, lime green and silver if it was a Seattle sports team.

I was just giving the people what the people wanted.

I have yet to see a blue mammoth. But I've seen a (fake) brown one in my hometown's museum.

I like the brown ones as well, but if it is Seattle then Id imagine the colors similar to the Seahawks might be used.

As I stated in the other thread, the concept and colours (brown) are very well done.
The logo however is too contemporary and will age poorly. Explore how you can keep your core ideas while incorporating a timeless factor into it.

I'd love to see a team in the NHL wear brown in some form. The more unique colour combinations in the league the better as long as they don't look ridiculous. I could get behind that design.

That was my first thought - cool concept, but that logo will be "so 2010's" in the future.

Nice job. I was just telling a friend this weekend that there are too many redundant color schemes among NHL teams, and brown seems like a color that (if presented well) could be a nice alternative as a dominant color scheme. Probably needs another accent color to avoid being too drab, though.

I agree with most that it's tough to see a Seattle team without the blue/green Seahawks colors. It also plays off of the Sharks and Canucks well, if that matters. But I like your logo and brown concept. Works great with the "Mammoth" theme. If I'm nitpicking, the poster above makes a great point regarding a "timeless" element, though I'm not sure many franchises have that going for them to make it a must. Over time, teams get re-branded or at the very least updated to keep with up the times. So I wouldn't sweat that too much. I think a little more detail could be nice, some minimal piping or striping in an additional accent color, also incorporated into the logo (something brighter, more colorful... not sure what would work). Overall I think these (browns) are a great idea, but a little too bland without that.

I like the brown one, it would stand out to the other teams jerseys. The blue and green look very alike the Vancouver one, but who knows maybe the Canucks change colours again.

I actually love the Seamammoth sets and idea, as a whole, even if they were officially called the Seattle Mammoths but went by the SeaMammoths

Another vote for the brown ones.

Now, in the expansion draft they just need to pick up Daniel Briere, Nathan Gerbe... :sarcasm:
