Eric Turner at Cover 1 has a great breakdown at what a great job Brady did in his first week.
I think it was this one.

That was the best the offense has looked against the Jets in probably two years. Obviously, there were some external variables involved outside of the offense's control (lots of TOs), but the fact they moved the ball so well without Diggs dominating was very encouraging. It will be interesting to see how the offense looks under Joe Brady
A) When defenses have film and can game plan for the Bills offense under Joe Brady
and
B) When the STs and defense struggle to create turnovers and the average drive start is worse than on Sunday.
Yes, the Jets have a great defense. They also lack an NFL offense and the STs gifted the offense a 3 point lead.
Here is the definition of success rate:
A play is considered successful when it gains at least 40% of yards-to-go on 1st down, 60% of yards-to-go on 2nd down and 100% of yards-to-go on 3rd or 4th down.
Turnovers do not change success rate any more than an incomplete pass or a TFL on a rushing play does.
Dodson has a pretty good game vs the Jets (7 tackles, sack, fumble, etc) but is up and down, perhaps if he is a upgrade on Klein ? They will likely want Matekevich and Spector for their average special teams.
Hmmmm. If he's not physically shot, he'd look real good next to Bernard for the rest of the year.

would cost you 6M now, wait ansd see if he clears waivers
Yes and I expect that he clears and signs to the practice squad of a contender for the rest of 2023.That's a lot of money for potentially damaged goods.
If he clears waivers is the contract void from a new team signing him perspective?
However, the last two seasons have been a struggle for Leonard. The veteran only played in three games in 2022 due to a variety of injuries, including a concussion and a lingering back injury, and he hasn’t been able to return to form this year. This year, Leonard has just 65 tackles and has yet to record a sack or a forced fumble.
Oh man, we'd be a good spot for him to end up if he believes we're a contender. He'd be with a defensive minded coach who gets the most out of his players most of the time, and would have a chance to win the job.Yes and I expect that he clears and signs to the practice squad of a contender for the rest of 2023.
He hasn't been the same since he missed most of last season to multiple injuries.

Im worried that for the Colts to cut bait on him with that much more $ on the table, he might be toast. They gotta have a lot of dead cap with the remaining years there..

It's Nathaniel (can't) Hackett. Did you expect some sort of GOOD game plan out of the Jets?Speaking of Dodson, I can't believe how bad their gameplan was for dealing with him. Basically the only strength he brings to the table is being sturdy at the point of attack. Get him on the move and he's easy to exploit. And they... ran right at him all game?
He still grades out better than our other options (aside from Bernard). I would hope the bills at least kick the tires.Yeah, that's my worry too. And Leonard was beloved in Indy.
Maybe we sign him to the PS to see if he still has anything..........but I can't imagine there's much left there.
I think the play is: do not put in a claim, and if (when) he clears, immediately bring him in for a visit. Workout and medical. And then based on that make a decision on if he can be an asset.Yes and I expect that he clears and signs to the practice squad of a contender for the rest of 2023.

The funny thing is, Im not sure Douglas had the balls to let him go due to wanting to keep Rodgers happy in case he plays next year. It's Nathaniel (can't) Hackett. Did you expect some sort of GOOD game plan out of the Jets?

The fact we have our bye coming up means you basically have an extra week to get him prepared if you need him. And once he's ready to go, waive Klein and replace him with Leonard.
Hyde and Rapp are day to day, and Johnson + Jackson are in concussion protocol.1. Thread title needs updating, please and Thanks.
2. Bizarre how the Bills are only 1 win above .500 yet >100 point positive point differential. Only other teams in league >100 are Ravens, Cowboys, Niners who all lead their division (with exception of Eagles, who aren't even close to a 100pt differential).
3. I am 50 pages behind in this thread, not gonna catch up. What is the injury status in the secondary, post-Jets game with Rapp, #7 Johnson, etc.
