I've been pretty checked out on this team since that Dolphins playoff game where they looked like a bag of shit versus one of the worst playoff teams and QBs in recent memory. So I'm not really taking this loss hard at all. Something has seemed really wrong and the games stopped being fun.

I was more pissed after that Flyers-Sabres game where we got throttled.
The Dolphins win this year gave me
hope but it’s all downhill since then.

I don’t want it to get lost that Troy Aikman managed to call out the entire Dorsey offense problem in one simple sentence and he’s dumb as a box of rocks and I’m not convinced he even watches the games.

It's the opposite for me. Sabres have been a tire fire for over a decade. Hard to get upset at any of their losses

In all likelihood this Bills' season is over. It would take a miracle for them to make the playoffs.

And if the Sabres don't get their act together this is going to go down as one of, if not the most, disappointing year in Buffalo sports history.

And that's saying a LOT. :help:

Is it really a disappointment when failing miserably is a Buffalo sports tradition unlike any other?

Idk about ever but certainly ugly.

Glad I stopped watching when the Bills got it inside the 10 on the TD drive. Assumed they'd score and give up the game-winning FG, but not like that.

I'm officially completely fine with blowing it all the way up as far as coaching goes. McD looks in over his head being DC and doing everything else, Dorsey is average at best, and management/coaching has collectively broken Allen, though it also seems like his head is less in the game in the offseason now than it was earlier in his career and it seems to be biting him in the ass. The switch to "low positive" also doesn't really seem like it's worked.

Anyway, T=this was an inexcusable, horrifically stupid loss for a franchise with a long and storied history of them. Like...you called the TO! How do you **** up and not have the FG unit out there on the play before, or make sure that only the FG guys get out there?

McD just crumbles under pressure.

Someone could try and write the most ridiculously "Buffalo way" for a Bills loss to end and it just wouldn't come anywhere close to the real thing on any given night. Unbelievable.
Someone should ask ChatGPT to write a Bills lose a heartbreaking game script so we can all laugh at how it pales in comparison to what actually just happened.

the Sabres look kinda the same right now. Trying to play like something we’re not. Even special teams are killing us

McDermott wanted his hands on every part of the team…and they are.

Of course he won’t get fired. But he needs to be taken off several of his current projects. This team is a dumpster fire and he is where the buck stops.

No excuse, this was a must win and the team failed miserably. Yes the defense has injuries issues, but this offense should score 30 just about every game at home.

That was a Miracle At The Meadowlands level someone ABSOLUTELY needs to be fired the next day.

(Fun fact: After that season the Giants sacked the entire staff and hired some guy named Bill Parcells. If only the Bills end up as lucky).

Clock may have run out on Dorsey because McDermott is eating the shit tonight.

It was the one thing that might make a move happen. He didn’t give a shit when Dorsey was the target. But now he looks even more stupid.

Does McDermott get benched for the 1st half for his f*** ups like he did with Cook?
