I mean it’s a large window on a screen grab. No so much when the defender is trailing him by just two yards.

I don’t think this is a very good example of a pass that should have been thrown softer

I mean, not everything is going to work. But they need to be willing to run with Allen some of the time instead of the "never run with Allen" offense, so they try a run and it gets stuffed at the line of scrimmage then so be it. You can't take that play out of the playbook.
