I signed up for a season ticket waitlist a few years ago (8 years maybe?). Can't find a link to this thing anywhere, is the wait list for season tickets managed online, or have they changed the way they manage the waitlist?

Apologies if I'm not supposed to be posting ticketing questions here, just can't find anything through Google, which is weird.

Was surprised nobody responded to this thread, I recieved a response back that I still have about 20 years to go. Thought I'd share for anyone wondering - looks like the wait list is probably 30-40 years.

From the email:

"Currently you are spot 11233 on the TML waitlist. For season seats, our renewal rate is over 99% and therefore we get very few inventory back. At this point we would estimate this wait time to over 20 years unfortunately.

If you have any further questions feel free to email back or call our LEAF line at 416-703-5323."

whoa! leafs seasons tickets are weird right? you have to buy a seat licence then season tickets on top of that or something, I don't know the whole ins and outs of it but something like that. I have family friends who have season tickets so I usually get 1 game per season on a weeknight against a lesser team but hey a lot of people never get to go cant complain. The same friends say they were pretty much forced to buy raptors season tickets do you know if that's true?

When I was in high school which was from 1999-2004, I had a teacher with Leafs season tickets in one of the 300 sections and I believe he also had Raptors season tickets.

Not weird so much as it's a bull shit way for them to squeeze even more money from people. Seat licensing is a total crock. It's like a convenience fee or tax and is pure gouging.

I went on the wait list in late '97, sometime in '98 when the Leafs bought the Raptors and ACC got a call that we had seats. Picked out our seats in late summer of '98, no seat licence, no Raptor tickets were forced upon us. There are sections where you had to purchase both, upper bowl didn't apply. Have moved three times since then, moved to our current seats after the 2004 lockout. Pay about $100 a pair, this year was the first time we had a significant increase. We always paid around $75 a pair.

Really shows you how this is the centre of the hockey universe, in Florida if you bought seasons they would probably throw you a party and give you limo service for opening night lol

I am like #180 on the list. Not too bad

I have Sabres season tickets in the mean time, $42 per seat for
SECOND ROW behind the Sabres net.
Can't beat that deal other than the team.

What was the email address you asked? I signed up at least 10 years ago - would be interested to see where I'm at.

I wouldn't face Toronto traffic/crowds to go see the Leafs. And for the money, would feel obligated to watch the whole damn disaster.

Take the train

Me and my kid took the GO train to the Carolina game last Thursday. $22 each for a two way ride from Burlington to Union. What a ripoff (I would swear it was about $12 last spring but can't remember). The money isn't a problem but FFS our politicians seem to be clueless to the fact if you want people out of their cars, you have to make transit convenient and affordable.

Four of us went togther, that's $88. I hate driving to Toronto but $88 is double what we would have spent for parking and gas.

Easily double. For convenience and cost it makes way more sense to drive.
