The fact that Brad Allen is a veteran ref just speaks volume that the league needs to go to full time refs, who have "training camp" each off season, work Sunday, have Monday/Tuesday as their days off, attend training and do video review of games they worked (by the league) and go over issues on Wednesday/Thursday, travel to their new city on Friday and do what they need to do to prep for the game on Saturday.
