At this point the Browns best bet is probably just riding it out while starting the rebuild. Start positioning yourself to draft his replacement in 2026 or 2027. At least the cap damage is only 2 more years, with just 27 dead after that in 2027. They should stop pushing money into the future and look to 2027 as their new beginning.

Cook being out hurts. Shakir being in is great news, but hopefully whatever he’s playing through doesn’t hurt him or his efficacy tonight.

Not feeling confident at all in this one. The Jets D tends to have Allen's number, although maybe losing Saleh helps a smidge there, and I do wonder if they miss on having the usual dead cat bounce in terms of increased energy/juice because he wasn't a lame duck coach for a while before getting canned. Hopefully Brady can get some easy looks dialed up and somebody--anybody--steps up as a pass catcher for the Bills.
