Isn't this basically Machinehead's theory that we see guys 'working hard' by skating all over the ice because they don't control the puck, so we label them as useful even though they don't really achieve anything?I will never understand this board’s fascination with Brodzinski. Dude has like 2 points in 20 games this season, is in his late 20’s, and has never produced above replacement level in his NHL career. He isn’t physical or a defensive specialist either
As you say, Brodz is an ok 13/14 guy, but you'd ideally want someone on the 4th line who at least does 1 thing above replacement level
