How Do You Grade The Trade?

Getting a first back is a great move, but I didn't realize RyJo is making 8 mill a year still. At least his contract ends after next season. Maybe they can flip him next trade deadline for more assets.

Reactions: Captain Dave Poulin
Doesn't he make like $4 million? Even if he never plays next year that's still at most the third worst contract on this team behind Atkinson and Risto.

.
If it's 1 year at 8mil, there better be more than just a first.

It’s 4. Nashville retained half so it shows up as 8 on CapFriendly.

They still have no plan. This is a seller's move, if not a rebuilding *gasp* one, yet they extended their other trade piece only hours ago. If they're trading Walker for a first, selling high, why extend Seeler instead of selling high? (I know he's injured, but this should have happened before). Why not trade Laughton? Great job despite having an inconsistent, flawed vision of the team I guess

He only has 1 year left at 8 mil, so I can live with that. He’s decent enough you might be able to get a team to bite at next years TDL? I think I read that Nashville is already retaining some of his salary? Don’t know how that works.
