Prospect Info: Sean Farrell, C/LW, 124th Overall

I hope we don't just view him as an asset and give him a chance. If it doesn't work out, he probably has some trade value.
Farrell’s recent and continuing success has probably made him a more valuable trading asset than some of our more heralded prospects. He’s added speed and strength to his impressive offensive skill set. Most importantly, Farrell is now showing no hesitation in going into the hard areas of the ice . He’s competing every shift and is often the most noticeable Laval forward in most games.

As I have previous stated, I watch most Laval games on the opposing team’s broadcast/feed (a nice feature on FloHockey). Their commentary provides you with a good and unbiased commentary on the Laval players to balance off the perceptions of your own echo chamber. Most commentators view Farrell as one of Laval’s most dangerous/ skilled offensive players and a legitimate NHL prospect.

They may well be right .

He is waiver eligible next year, if my recollection is correct.

So if he doesn't make the team out of camp, he'll be on waivers and could potentially be claimed. We'll see. Or I guess he could be traded. But I'd imagine it would be for another similar level player.
