Couturier is one of the most interesting individual storylines to follow this year. He's played fantastic.

I would have called this season a success if he had taken the whole season to get up to speed and play about 20-ish minutes in a game. He was at that level immediately when he put his jersey on. Great story!

Tbh I think most flyers fans expected this. His game has never been based on athleticism, instead IQ, so as long as he was healthy enough to play he should be effective.

I mean he recorded a hat trick on a torn MCL in the playoffs in 2018:

Sean Couturier is an excellent player and it's not a big surprise that he's still an excellent player.

Folks who said he was immovable (healthy or not) have been bamboozled. Contending teams should be beating down the Flyers door right now so they have this guy for the next 5 years.
