Nice snipe kid. The Sabres pilons did a good job avoiding getting hit by that rocket. Joki should get an assist for screening Levi

Nice goal!

Devils fans, seems like he is going to stick around at least until Hughes and Pesce are back? Will he play this week as well?

Seems like Pesce could be back for the Leafs game Thursday. Casey's the best transition D on the team right now with Luke out and he's running PP2. When Pesce comes back I run 7D and then reevaluate everything when Luke's back. Casey also has the versatility to play up front which makes going 7D easier too as he can take some shifts there if they wanted

I would really like to see a Casey - Pesce pairing while Pesce gets back up to speed. Nemec put Casey in some tough spots and wasn't super helpful on retrievals and breaking the puck out, two areas where Pesce is much stronger.

I do think running 7D is the right decision right now, I would probably do something like:

Siegs - Hamilton (PP1)
Casey (PP2) - Pesce
Dillon - Kovacevich/Nemec

But we will probably see something like:

Siegs - Pesce
Dillon - Hamilton
Casey - Kovacevich/Nemec

Dillon - Hamilton was very scary defensively, I did not like them together at all.
