In his last 3 games up Blom was getting shelled for 40-50 shots and was still managing to keep close to a .900 sv%. This was also in October when the team looked AHL level. Jarry gives up 4 goals on 15 shots routinely. Blom would outperform Jarry and Ned easily and it isn't particularly close.

Apparently you could go into all game threads and explain how every goal against was an unstoppable shot taken from mount olympus by zeus himself. You could explain how the other team pays their players to make plays, as opposed to the Penguins, who simply pay their players to occupy a certain space at a certain time. Neither of these things, I'm lead to believe, are done while laughing, or even attempting to create laughter in others.

I’m just tired of having coaches who prioritize personal relationships with players over the results of the team. You don’t have to do a 180 and hire a maniac like Torts Babcock, but it would be nice to see some level of accountability that isn’t based on country of origin or NHL games under your belt.

TJ has had more than enough chances. They sent him down, and brought him back up and he still can’t get it done. He just doesn’t have the “it” factor at this level. At least not for this team. How many more points is Sullivan willing to throw away for this guy?

Yeah, go back to the back to back cups and Sullivan started tinkering around with certain players. Had them moved and what thought they might be better for it? You just had won 2 cups!?
