As someone who was not Leonard's biggest fan when he was drafted, and someone who thought we should pump the breaks on his potential impact impact as the "real" TDL acquisition, I think anyone talking about sitting him needs their eyes checked. Sure, he hasn't put up points but I think that's as much to do with him being saddled with a meh line for the last 4 or 5 games as anything. He's definitely still got some warts, but he's got energy and skill that the team is sorely lacking. There isn't anyone sitting that is going to give you more/better then he is, and I'd certainly prefer he be out on the ice then Mangi, Raddysh, or even Beau.

His problems have not been the teams problems.

This 100%. As my diatribe on Lappy from the other thread shows, I'm not afraid to use the numbers to make a point, and one goal in 9 games is obviously not ideal. But the numbers also tell a story. Remember early in the year with Lappy was playing poorly and completely snakebit? He was getting crushed in possession and suffering from bad luck (xGF% at 5 on 5 of 42.8% and oiSh% of 7.8%).

Leno is sitting at an insanely, unbelievably low 3.6% oiSh% and a very strong xGF% at 5 on 5 of 55.1% (5th on the team). When the finish comes around, he will start putting up points in bunches. If I have one critique of his game, he just needs to slow down a touch. There are a few times where he has rushed a play where he just needs to take a split second to slow down. I am confident he will learn that skill as he adjusts to the pace. There is no league in the world that can match the pace of the NHL.

Just some context on Leonard's "luck":

(On ice Sh% isn't 100% luck, but a lot of it is)

I looked at the past 2 seasons. I wanted to limit it to recent years because of the way these things vary over the seasons. In those 2 seasons, there 880 players with at least 115 minutes of 5v5 time. Leonard is 880th (i.e. last) in oiSh% with 1.85%.
