I've been knocked out, twice, it happened in the same game. Buddy did a clean open ice hit, I cartwheeled over him and hit my helmet on the ice, knocked out #1, the second one was the same guy he Kadried me, blinded hit, I was coming down the middle and he just clocked me. In those days it was clean , both hits. I ended up doing the eyes roiling back in my head thing the 2nd time. First time coach's exact words were , you got your bell rung, shake it off and get back out there. Different time in the late 80's.
