I did a search on this forum, but unless I used the wrong terms, could not find what I was looking for.

Everyone knows about Gretzky's 51 straight games, and Lemieux's 46 straight, but what I was looking for was a table of the top so many. I believe Lafleur had the record at 28 prior to Gretzky, so that would be another. BUt how many times has 20 games been done? Or based on the number of times a level has been accomplished, when does a streak become somewhat significant?

I was hoping there was a table or something with all of them, but I couldn't find anything. Hoping someone here either has it or knows a site that does.

Thanks.

Longest Consecutive Point-Scoring Streak

51 games - Wayne Gretzky, Edm., 1983-84, 61G-92A-153Pts during streak.
46 games - Mario Lemieux, Pit., 1989-90, 39G-64A-103Pts during streak.
39 games - Wayne Gretzky, Edm., 1985-86, 33G-75A-108Pts during streak.
30 games - Wayne Gretzky, Edm., 1982-83, 24G-52A-76Pts during streak.
- Mats Sundin, Que., 1992-93, 21G-25A-46Pts during streak.
28 games - Guy Lafleur, Mon., 1976-77, 19G-42A-61Pts during streak.

Sundin is actually 3rd alltime.

So at what point does a streak become historically significant? 20 games? Sounds like about 7 times 28 games has been done. Anyone have any list of how many times 20 games has been reached?

I believe in his rookie year Paul Stastny had a 20 game points streak which broke the rookie record his father held. If rookies are running up 20 game streaks I'm sure there's some 30+ point streaks out there.
