I watched the 1931 film again recently and was surprised how well it still holds up.

I watched the original and Bride this Halloween. Bride holds up better minus the miniatures crap. I’m honestly not the biggest fan of the Universal horror movies. Freaks blows those movies away.

I’ve never made it thru young Frankenstein. I’ve fallen asleep after they introduce eyegore at least three times.
I’ve found the beginning funny, I’ve always tried to watch it too late in the night maybe.

Dresden files?

I read the first couple books and really didn’t care for them. Harry is an insufferable protagonist, and Butcher just put him into too many weird horny situations. Like when he needed to get into his apartment, but it was being watched by the cops, and the only way to distract them was having a beautiful lady strip naked and do a weird dance in the rain.

What about them? He hasn't put out a new book in like a decade at this point.
