Series Talk: SCFs Discussion - Looking To Play Spoilers AGAIN - Panthers Tied 0-0

Apparently McDrai were on their death beds last year. But now they are healthy.

Just ignore that McDavid had more points last year going into the Finals with 31(18 games) compared to 25 in 16 now.
Flying Elbow had 28 points going into the finals in 18 games. (25 now in 16)

I get both are elite and can turn a series, but the excuses are off the charts. Who isn't injured by June rolls around?
Exactly they think you’re disrespecting their team when you don’t say they’ll win in 4 and dominate every shift. They could absolutely do that, but it’s not a guarantee.

It's pretty interesting that this playoff run has been a hybrid of the first two.

2023 - unlikely underdawg run from start to finish ending in heartbreak that was full of fun
2024- Team on a mission, not an underdawg any series and getting the job done. Not as fun as 2023 but the result was the bestest.
2025- RD1 underdawgs. Round 2 favored and did it. Went down 0-2, looked depressing, then it was fun as shit. RD3 - Favored and did it. It was fun as hell. RD4 - Underdawgs once again.

Hopefully the result is the bestest

What consistent this year is that they’ve won as underdogs and overdogs and hot dogs. Oilers can’t do anything to stop that and neither can Goldie’s Jinxes.

Not to mention Benny is giving away dogs.....and it's the first season we were without the Arizona desert dogs...

Clearly there is only one result possible

Dog Shit 😭 o_O

Panthers aren't underdogs though lol they're an extremely small favorite. Don't let HF twist the truth.

The coolest part of this video is Chuck calling over Vinny viola wife Teresa to get in the photo and then Teresa hugs barky. This is a family run business and Teresa is one of us fans. I can’t say enough good things about our ownership bringing in zito giving him blank checks and letting him do his thing. My only concern is they cash out and sell at some point because they made an incredible return on their investment with the team. Buy low sell high.
No one is going to sell this franchise right now, they just unlocked the secret of how to to be successful year after year, maybe in five years when all these players start to look old to play hockey, but right now we took the spotlight away from the Tampa Bay lighting, which it was considered to be the standard, we are now the Golden Standard, we are the measuring stick that every NHL team has to measure up to.

Aho is better than Hintz. Aho is a legit 1C though. Great player.
If true, that makes them even more overrated.

Dont remember the last cup winner without an elite center. Brayden Point is so very much better than Hintz. Actually outplayed all our C's the first two times we played Tampa

It would be Kuznetsov and Ryan O'Reilly? RyanO is a selke winner and Kuznetsov was better than Hintz.

Stars really overrated in my opinion. Ill add on that Jim Nill constantly winning the best GM just proves that

Viola is comically wealthy. I doubt he's trying to build the value of the franchise just to sell it. We're very lucky that he seems to view this as both a prestige thing and a way to employ West Point buddies/veterans (on the business side, which is perfectly fine).

I wish many years of good health and happiness for him and his family.

Roope Hintz is a great hockey player. He is not as good as Barkov, but there's nobody as good as Barkov in the 200ft game. Dallas has talent, but I think you could write a book about what's gone wrong for them with that current group, which is fraying at the seams (mostly due to age in the core, I think). I also believe Pete DeBoer has maybe lost a handle on the team, based on his completely insane comments about Jake Oettinger after the series; I suspect he would like to be fired.
