Mad no, disappointed sure.
I personally feel we are better than last year. They have a great team over their but pretend they are hands down the best.

It is absolutely the worst when you can already predict the outcome of the game after a few minutes in. I fast forwarded through it, saved me a lot of time. They just suck in close-out games. At least they never have the same piss-poor effort two games in a row. I expect them to show up.
It also would have been the moment for the "F*ck the plays" speech of PoMo. Barky and Lundell all the time trying to stickhandle in front of the net instead of just firing the puck drove me crazy last night.

Canes came out stronger, and FL I guess just expected them to give up by the 2nd or something.

2 years ago we closed out the series at home. It's only fair to beat them at there arena this year to close it out.

God yes... Well, I suppose it's better than the Leafy alternative, I guess. But it is frustrating. Close it out tomorrow - not to give the team rest but to give ME time to catch up with all the games. The last two series have been crazy - too close together and with a lot of football/soccer as well [Woo hoo CHARLTON WAS PROMOTED!!!!].

I think it speaks to the level the Panthers have achieved that we're all a little salty about not getting a sweep in the Eastern Conference Finals. A lot of us were ticked that the Leafs series got to seven games.
Gettingsomewhat pretty totally spoiled here, gang (I include myself). Losses are going to happen, especially at this level. As Friar Marchand has said, enjoy the ride. It's not guaranteed to happen again.

True. But I wasn't so much expecting a sweep at the start of the series. Just that everyone, outside of Bob, just seemed like were either playing at 80% or just tried for that perfect pass instead of getting it on net.
Marchand had a great chance, passed it over but the defenseman was expecting it and was already blocking the lane before the pass.
Not pissed or anything, just a shame to have another dud at home for a closeout game.
They totally did not want to play last night. Showed up unmotivated.
