I’m a die hard islanders fan. Hockey is by far my favorite sport. I was born after the isles dynasty. I’d give anything to see them win a cup. If they are ever up 3-0 in the cup finals and blew the series and lost I don’t think I’d be able to recover from that level of depression after waiting my whole life for a cup. I’d be sick. I can’t even imagine the feeling. I don’t have a dog in the fight and I’m sick for Florida fans.

On the flip side how exciting this must be for oiler fans after feeling dead in the water to come roaring back like this? Amazing

NFL has encroachment penalties and it's much easier for the ref to see if anyone is offside before a snap than an NHL game. Its not remotely the same
