It's almost as if the refs have a bias and an agenda.

Gotta say I don't believe in 'the agenda.' But unfortunately modern era reffing is highly erratic game to game, between officiating crews, but alarmingly within games themselves. Too many ticky tack calls in the rule book that leads to highly variable, erratic interpretation on-ice.
