Nope. **** him. He was bailed out by snow on the ice. Twice. Sick of hearing about how this guy is "great". He's ****ing average with no championship to show for it. **** him and the horse he rode in on.

The ice is puckluck.

Now the stupid Rag media and its fans will shut up about that, right?

RIIIIGHT.

Oh well, we gave them that one. Let's see who wins the next.

A couple of "meh" stats:

Kings are now 3-3 this playoff season in close-out games.

Kings are the only team to hold 3-0 leads in the SCF since 1981-82 season and not sweep. And now they've done it twice. #distinction

I don't even think Lundy was that good, he let two regular blue-line shots get through him, that ice shavings saved from going in.

He was terrible, the Rangers were gassed after the 12 minute mark of the first period.

Kings better be angry they let that game get away.

it's one game that the Kings largely dominated. we knew that henrik would steal a game. put it to rest. don't piss and moan about the refs, losers complain about what they can't control. winners knuckle down and give extra effort so they win. all LA needed was to get a split on the road and they have home ice. mission accomplished

Apparently there was a Beat LA chant. Music to my ears!

Take a deep breath TG.

Nothing was hand delivered to anyone, great goaltenders occasionally steal games, we have seen Quick win some games for the Kings that we had no business winning.

I disagree. That game was git wrapped.

I edited my post though.

I hate that pile of garbage they call the Rags and can't wait for them to lose.

On to the next game.

Bummer.

WTF that ice was bad across the whole sheet, but miserable behind Lundy.

Yuck.

Park and ride.

It doesn't matter what they called, losers blame the refs. Tonight was just a night where a great player put his team on his shoulders and was not going to be beat.

Anyone else in the league the Kings are skating around with the Cup right now. Anyone else.

Props to Lundqvist, he is an amazing goaltender, but his team is so overmatched it won't matter.

They were overmatched and it showed for the 2nd half of the game, esp that 3rd period they had nothing left. And that was because the Kings were dominating and keeping them penned in with puck control. And that won't change ,
And when the Kings win game 5, the Rangers can take all summer thinking about all those 2 goal leads they blew in games 1 and 2.

If the Rangers were going to win a game, it was going to be in this fashion, with Lundqvist pulling a rabbit out of his butt. Kings had numerous chances to draw even and took control of this game but tonight was just one of those nights where they couldn't squeak one through. Didn't look like they had many opportunities to redirect shots or get traffic in front of Henrik.

Drawing on past experiences, you'd think this team would know what to do to finish this off at home.

It's just so frustrating. The Kings have clearly played better, but you can't give a team any life. Comebacks don't happen often, but the Kings know firsthand they can happen.

I'm so sick of hearing the stupid puck luck term. Dumbest thing I've heard on TV since ESPN wouldn't shut up about Mount Rushmore's of sports a couple of months back.

Luck blah blah blah, the series is 3-1, and that's probably where it should be.

Kings will end it Friday.

Rangers came back from being down 3-1 vs the Penguins, right? LA was up 3-1 vs Chicago, Blackhawks came back, right? I know both of those series weren't 3-0 but still, this is scary. Like I said in the PGT, momentum is a scary thing. The Rangers now know they can somehow beat LA, the Kings probably thought this was their best game and lost. One team's head is high, the other is a little low.

Btw, has anyone seen Kopitar?

PHX was a much better team than the Rangers. Smith was on fire that year, and playing out of his mind. That is till the Kings broke him.

If anything the script is pretty consistent. Rangers have fast starts, terrible finishes. Weather the storm in the first period and go to town later in the game.
