Stamkos imploring dumb Tampa fans not to throw their ping pong paddles onto the ice
I'll never understand why teams decided to hold promotional giveaways with items that are so easily thrown on the ice. Give away a shirt or a hat or a towel, not a lame paddle that nobody could give a shit about. It's not rocket science

EK: "Steven how do you feel about the thrown ping pong paddles."

Remember the thundersticks? Now they have these paddles for more fake noise. Why can't fans just bang on their seats like the old days?

Thread title for you and @GENESISPuck94
🤣

I think because it's been so long since his last game as a Ranger, that people forget just how dominant and how great Leetch was. Watch YouTube videos for reference. He was underrated defensively, too. He was more times than not in perfect position. Not many players could throw a hip check the way he could. He took over games. Not just garbage secondary assists. He literally took over games the way a forward would. The guy was insanely good. And he did most of it with two destroyed ankles. Imagine what he could have done without two destroyed ankles.

If a team gives up a first-round pick for Georgiev, the GM should immediately be fired. I'd be happy with a 3rd-rounder.

When he was among the best, his ankles were just fine.

Imagine what he could have done if they built a decent team around him.

Avs will have to put their SC parade on hold after this one

One thing that the Avs haven't really faced in these playoffs is adversity. Curious to see how the team (including their goalie) are able to bounce back from this one. To me they have to win the next game or it gets really dicey.

100000% I wish they kept Amonte, Weight, Kovalev, Zubov... what could have been.

He still put up 80 point seasons with the bad ankles. He broke them before 94 I believe.

If that was a badcross check on Colorado than I going to give up and sell all my hockey equipment. I have seen dozens of cross checks this post season that were dispensable incidences..

I'll never forget free dart night in Anaheim in 1998. So sad.
