Play is dead immediately on the touch of the puck by Kampf.
Gudas delivers the hit about 1.5 seconds after the play is dead.
Can you get an interference penalty for a very late hit after the play is already dead?
Gudas takes a few strides into the hit - definition of charging maybe?
Kampf was forced into concussion protocol for 15 minutes.
Thankfully, cooler heads prevailed and only Toronto was penalized as a result.
